How old must I be to compete in a Primal Mud Run?
You must be at least 18 years old on the day of the race.

Is Primal Mud Run for me?
If you like to get muddy while pushing yourself physically and mentally then Primal Mud Run is for you.

Why are some waves listed as Elite?
If you are in it to win it than be sure to register for an Elite wave. While all waves are
timed only athletes who register for an Elite waves are eligible to receive a Primal award.

Are there awards?
Yes, but in order to be eligible to qualify for an award you must register for an Elite wave. We award the following:
- Top 3 males and females of each division

What are the divisions?
- Men’s Open
- Men’s Masters (45 and older)
- Women’s Open
- Women’s Masters (45 and older)

How are places determined?
Primal is a timed event. The fastest times win.

Can I receive a refund?
Primal registration fees are non-refundable, no exceptions.

Can I transfer my registration?
Yes, you can transfer your registration to someone else. Use this form. You must include the following:
- Current athlete: Full name and email
- New athlete: Full name, email, address, phone, date of birth, age, and an emergency contact name and number.

Do you offer any discounts?
Yes, Primal Mud Run offers two types of discounts: Team and Military.

Team Discounts*:
Join or create a team and save. All team discounts will be administered via refund one month after the event.
- 6 to 10 teammates – You each will receive a $4 discount one month after the event.
- 11-20 teammates – You each will receive a $8 discount one month after the event.
- 21+ teammates – You each will receive a $12 refund one month after the event.

To qualify for your team discount simply create a team or join an existing team during the registration process. Please note teammates do not have to select the same start time so gather your friends and co-workers and Get Primal.

Military Discounts*:
To thank the men and women who selflessly protect our freedom, Primal Mud Run offers a $10 military discount to all active duty, reserves, and veterans of the U.S. military. (valid military ID required). To receive your military discount simply enter “military” into the the field labeled “Enter promotional code” on the registration page, and continue with registration. If you fail to provide a valid military ID at check-in you will be required to pay an additional $50 fee in order to participate in Primal Mud Run.

* Please note if you registered for Primal Mud Run via a third party (ie. Groupon) you are not eligible for any discounts. Discounts cannot be combined.
